Heritage posted their closest victory since September 12th on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the Calhoun Yellow Jackets 5-4. This was a revenge game for the Generals: when they faced off against the Yellow Jackets on Tuesday, they had to take a 2-1 loss.

Heritage is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for Calhoun, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-14.

Coming up, Heritage will head out to take on Sonoraville at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Calhoun does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
