For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when LaFayette and Ridgeland meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Friday. LaFayette came out on top against Ridgeland by a score of 7-2. This was a revenge game for the Ramblers: when they faced off against the Panthers last Thursday, they had to take a 4-2 loss.

LaFayette is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-9 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.4 runs over those games. Ridgeland's defeat was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 9-10.
