Softball Recap: Pleasant Valley Now 8-1 over Last Nine Games

Pleasant Valley extended their postseason success on Tuesday against Southeast Polk. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Rams 11-9. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Spartans considering their one-run performance the match before.

Pleasant Valley has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 30-10 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.9 runs over those games. As for Southeast Polk, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 30-12.

As of now, neither Pleasant Valley nor the Rams have any future games scheduled.
