Recap: Brockway Rovers vs. Kane Wolves
The Brockway Rovers were the 42-30 winner over the Kane Wolves when they last played one another back in February of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Brockway fell 41-30 to Kane on Friday.
Despite the loss, Brockway saw an underclassman step up: Sophia Schmader dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds. Schmader hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for three straight games.
Brockway has been struggling recently, as they've lost seven of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season. As for Kane, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 7-3.
Brockway will head out on the road to take on DuBois Central Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kane, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Port Allegany at 7:30 p.m.
