Volleyball Recap: Leading Edge Academy - GEC Comes Up Short + How To Watch

The Leading Edge Academy - GEC Spartans came up short against the Desert Christian Eagles on Saturday, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-8, 25-10.

Desert Christian was led to victory by Aliah Sanchez and Abby Numer. Sanchez had eight digs and two assists, while Numer hit 55.6% for five kills and 27 assists and seven digs. Those five kills gave Numer a new career-high.

Leading Edge Academy - GEC's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Desert Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-8 record this season.

Leading Edge Academy - GEC will host San Carlos at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Desert Christian, they will head out to square off against St. Augustine Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
