Sunrise Mountain's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 34-18 victory over the Cheyenne Desert Shields. The Miners haven't had any issues with the Desert Shields recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

The critical scores for Sunrise Mountain came from Cam'Ron Ford, Jamal Thrower, and Kaylin Mills.

Sunrise Mountain didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Eric Warrior and Wanigi Bermudez.
