Burgettstown is 4-0 against California since February of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Burgettstown Blue Devils will venture away from home to take on the California Trojans at 6:00 p.m. Burgettstown will be strutting in after a win while California will be coming in after a loss.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Burgettstown turned things around against Carlynton on Monday. They blew past the Cougars 43-23.

Meanwhile, California ended up a good deal behind Bethlehem Center on Monday and lost 45-28. The Trojans were down 36-15 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

California's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Burgettstown, their victory bumped their record up to 4-7.

Everything came up roses for Burgettstown against California in their previous meeting back in February of 2022, as the squad secured a 65-22 win. Does Burgettstown have another victory up their sleeve, or will California turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
