Soccer Game Preview: Cedar Grove vs. Miller Grove

The Cedar Grove Saints will head out to take on the Miller Grove Wolverines at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Cedar Grove will be strutting in after a win while Miller Grove will be coming in after a defeat.

Cedar Grove is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They put the hurt on Carver with a sharp 10-0 victory on Thursday. Cedar Grove haven't had any issues with Carver recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Cedar Grove used a slightly different lineup for their bout with Carver. And. Trevor Garcia played for 45 minutes having averaged 18.3 this season. The pair took full advantage of the opportunity: Barethlemy Boganda scored a goal and one assist, while he scored a goal.

Meanwhile, after soaring to four goals the game before, Miller Grove was a bit more limited in their match on Thursday. They came up short against Drew Charter, falling 10-0. While losing is never fun, Miller Grove can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 347th, while Drew Charter are ranked 112th).

This is the second loss in a row for Miller Grove and nudges their season record down to 5-6. As for Cedar Grove, their victory bumped their record up to 2-7.
