Basketball Game Preview: Galeton Tigers vs. Williamson Warriors

The Galeton Tigers will challenge the Williamson Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Galeton will come in still looking for their first win of the season.

Last Saturday, Galeton took a blow against Sullivan County, falling 48-13.

Lynlee Basile was Galeton's leading scorer, having posted nine points. Ella Stahley held things down on the boards with seven rebounds.

Meanwhile, Williamson got the win against Sayre on Friday by a conclusive 48-27. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 21 points or more this season.

Galeton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Williamson, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-4.

Galeton was taken down by Williamson 54-5 in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Williamson's Kenna Thomas, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 18 boards.
