Soccer Recap: Christian Heritage Comes Up Short

After soaring to nine goals the game before, Christian Heritage was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They fell just short of the North Murray Mountaineers by a score of 2-1. The contest was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but the Lions couldn't quite close it out.

With the loss, Christian Heritage broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-3. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 13 goals over those three games. As for North Murray, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

As for North Murray, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Union County at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. North Murray will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
