Softball Recap: Knoxville Takes a Loss

Knoxville made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Davis County, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Panthers fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 4-2 on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-8 last Monday.

Knoxville has also been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-15 record this season. As for Davis County, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-7.

Knoxville has already played their next contest (against A-D-M), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Davis County, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 5-2 win against Centerville on the 27th.
