Baseball Recap: Fellowship Christian Wins Going Away Against Roswell

Fellowship Christian's hitters rose to the challenge against a Hornets pitching crew that boasted an average of only 3.75 runs allowed on Monday. The Fellowship Christian Paladins blew past the Roswell Hornets 10-3. The result was nothing new for the Paladins, who have now won five contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Jack Dart looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one hit any time he's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Reid Harke was a standout: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and one double. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Jake Brannon, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.

Fellowship Christian lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

The win made it two in a row for Fellowship Christian and bumps their season record up to 8-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Roswell, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fellowship Christian will take on Whitefield Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Roswell, they will square off against Kell at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
