Softball Recap: Ardmore Takes a Loss

Ardmore was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 23rd straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Shawnee Wolves, falling 11-0. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wolves apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.

Ardmore's loss dropped their record down to 0-17. As for Shawnee, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-6-1 record this season.

Ardmore will take on Del City at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.17 runs per game on average), something the Tigers will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Shawnee, they will square off against McAlester at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
