Baseball Recap: Galloway Comes Up Short

After flying high against KIPP Atlanta Collegiate on Thursday, Galloway came back down to earth. The Scots took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. Francis Knights on Saturday. The Scots were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Knights earlier this season, when they won 5-4.

Malcolm Stachowiak made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

Galloway dropped their record down to 4-14 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road. As for St. Francis, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-19 record this season.

As of now, neither Galloway nor St. Francis have any future games scheduled.
