Lamar County had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.8 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They walked away with an 11-6 victory over the Jasper County Hurricanes. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 11-9 on September 4th.

Lamar County's win bumped their record up to 17-2. As for Jasper County, they now have a losing record of 9-10.

Looking ahead, Lamar County will challenge Peach County at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Jasper County, they are taking a road trip to square off against McNair at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
