San Ysidro's game last Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They blew past the Mission Hills Grizzlies 7-1. The Cougars not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 1st.

Carlos Gomez tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run while striking out seven over five innings pitched.

On the hitting side, Adrik Sanchez and Armann Robles did most of the damage at the plate: Sanchez scored a run while going 2-for-4, while Robles scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. That's the most runs Robles has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Axel Reyes, who scored three runs while going 3-for-4.

San Ysidro kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Mission Hills only managed five hits.

San Ysidro is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season. As for Mission Hills, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.

San Ysidro has already played their next match (against Santa Fe Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Mission Hills also has no score uploaded for their next game, this one against Steele Canyon.
