Softball Recap: Rabun County Comes Up Short

Rabun County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jefferson Dragons.

Rabun County saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Anna Loren Mazarky, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double. That double marked the first that Mazarky has hit this season.

Rabun County's defeat dropped their record down to 7-21. As for Jefferson, they pushed their record up to 22-1 with the win, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Rabun County will host Franklin County at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Jefferson, they will head out on the road to take on Oconee County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
