Preview: Wasco Tigers vs. Delano Tigers
Wasco is on a six-game streak of home losses (dating back to last season), the Tigers a six-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change. The Wasco Tigers will take on the Delano Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
Wasco won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Tuesday. They were beaten by Chavez 56-28.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Cassandra Evangelista, who scored 11 points. Another player making a difference was Karly Perez, who scored six points.
Meanwhile, Delano had to suffer through a rough 82-9 loss at the hands of the Generals. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Delano in their matchups with the Generals: they've now lost five in a row.
Wasco has not been sharp recently as the team's lost nine of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-19 record this season. As for Delano, their loss dropped their record down to 5-17.
Wasco couldn't quite finish off the Tigers in their previous matchup back in January and fell 42-40. Will Wasco have more luck at home instead of on the road? Come back here after the game to get an analysis of the match and other basketball content.
