Softball Recap: Oktaha Falls Short Against Ranked Tahlequah

Oktaha faced Tahlequah in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. Oktaha fell just short of Tahlequah by a score of 2-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Tahlequah this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-1 last Monday.

Oktaha's defeat dropped their record down to 23-4. As for Tahlequah, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 18 of their last 19 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-3 record this season.

Oktaha wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 5-4 victory against Tonkawa on the 24th. As for Tahlequah, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Deer Creek on the 25th.
