If River Ridge wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Clearwater, they should've done a better job of containing Jaylen White. The Tornadoes blew past the Royal Knights, posting a 46-7 win for which the team can thank White, who rushed for 150 yards and three scores on only 11 carries, and also threw for 205 yards and one touchdown. His rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his seventh straight game with at least 100 rushing yards.

Clearwater is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 37.3 points over those games. As for River Ridge, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-2.

Clearwater has already played their next matchup, a 48-10 win against East Lake on the 17th. As for River Ridge, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Gulf at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th.
