North Providence entered their tilt with Lincoln on Friday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 14-8 W against the Lions. For the Cougars, this counts as revenge for the 44-28 victory the Lions walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

North Providence's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Lincoln, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.

North Providence will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Mt. Hope at 6:00 p.m. The Huskies' defense has only allowed 12.7 points per game this season, so the Cougars' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Lincoln, they will head out on the road to challenge South Kingstown at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
