Soccer Recap: Bonita Takes a Loss

On Thursday, the Bonita Bearcats came up short against the Ayala Bulldogs and fell 3-1. While losing is never fun, the Bearcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 359th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 134th).

This is the second loss in a row for Bonita and nudges their season record down to 6-10-4. As for Ayala, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-6-1 record this season.

Bonita is taking a road trip to challenge Diamond Bar at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Ayala has already played their next match (against Glendora), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
