Oglethorpe County waltzed into their match on Thursday with 11 straight wins... but they left with 12. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Banks County Leopards. That's more bragging rights for the Patriots, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Their offense was headlined by Leanna Newton and Elizabeth Cook, who picked up eight kills apiece. They got some help from Naomi McPeake and her 19 assists. Nora Turner controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Oglethorpe County's victory bumped their record up to 24-8. As for Banks County, they moved to 19-11 with that defeat, which also ended their five-match winning streak.
