Softball Recap: Stroud Comes Up Short

Stroud was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 5-1 to the Sapulpa Chieftains. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Chieftains apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Stroud's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Sapulpa, their victory bumped their record up to 2-4.

Looking ahead, Stroud will square off against Tonkawa at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The match will give the Tigers their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Sapulpa, they have already played their next contest, an 8-0 defeat against Kingston on the 16th.
