Baseball Recap: Amherst Central Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

It was a proper cat-fight when Amherst Central faced off against Sweet Home on Friday. The Tigers were the clear victors by a 14-2 margin over the Panthers. Considering the Tigers have won three games by more than nine runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory (which was Amherst Central's third in a row) raised their record to 4-5. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 18.0 runs over those games. As for Sweet Home, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.
