Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas) is the most dominant high school football team from Nevada over the last decade.
Based on our methodology, the Gaels amassed 673 points from 2013 to 2022 in edging
Liberty (Henderson), which finished second with 252 points.
Bishop Gorman won six straight state championships from 2013-18, then picked up two more in 2021 and 2022. The Gaels finished in the national top 25 six times, including a No. 1 finish in 2016.
Our methodology includes:
• Top 25 finishes in the MaxPreps state computer rankings (25 points awarded to the No. 1 team, 24 for No. 2 and so on).
• Top 25 finishes in the MaxPreps national computer rankings (50 points for No. 1, 49 for No. 2 and so on).
• State championships (20 points).
