Basketball Recap: Linden Has No Trouble Against Big Valley Christian

Fans were treated to a Battle of the Lions on Friday. The Linden Lions strolled past the Big Valley Christian Lions with points to spare, taking the game 34-19. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 36-30 back in January.

When it comes to explaining why Big Valley Christian lost, don't look at Kailey Rivera. Despite the final result, she posted six points and 20 rebounds. Rivera is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down nine or more in the last four games she's played. Paige Handley also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-10. As for Big Valley Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 11 games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 4-15 record this season.
