Sunnyslope came out on top against Dobson on Thursday thanks in part to Royce Vanacore's efforts. Vanacore threw for 123 yards and one TD while completing 72.7% of his passes, and also punched in one touchdown on the ground. The performance also marked the most passer rating (139.6) he has had since back in September of 2024.

Vanacore and Sunnyslope will face off against Goldwater at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th. Vanacore will have to deal with Conor Allard, who's been a dominant force in the Trojans' backfield. Will Allard keep Vanacore contained, or will Vanacore turn in another impressive offensive performance? There's only one way to know for sure.
