Recap: Cumberland Valley Christian Blazers vs. Shalom Christian Academy Flames
After a string of three wins, the Cumberland Valley Christian Blazers's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They had to suffer through a rough 51-19 loss at the hands of Shalom Christian Academy. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Cumberland Valley Christian has scored all season.
Shalom Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Addison Adams led the charge by scoring ten points along with seven rebounds and four steals. Adams has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last five times she's played. Jaicee Keller was another key contributor, scoring three points along with six steals and five assists.
Cumberland Valley Christian's loss dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Shalom Christian Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cumberland Valley Christian will take on Carlisle Christian Academy at 6:15 a.m. on Tuesday. As for Shalom Christian Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Allegany at 6:00 p.m.
