Having struggled with five defeats in a row, Capistrano Valley Christian turned things around against Avalon on Saturday. They took down the Lancers 35-20.

Meanwhile, The Webb Schools earned a 30-23 victory over San Gabriel Academy on Tuesday.

She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 16 games she's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Geniya Parker, who posted nine points and seven rebounds.

The Webb Schools' win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-10. As for Capistrano Valley Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 2-5.
