Basketball Recap: Mercer Takes a Loss

After flying high against West Middlesex last Thursday, Mercer came back down to earth. The Mercer Mustangs were outmatched by the Lakeview Sailors and fell 52-15. The Mustangs have struggled against the Sailors recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Mercer's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Lakeview, their victory bumped their record up to 10-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mercer will head out to challenge Jamestown at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lakeview, they are taking a road trip to face off against Reynolds at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
