Lowell Catholic managed to slip by North Middlesex Regional the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Ftng Crusaders lost 10-4 to the Patriots on Monday.

Lowell Catholic has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-9 record this season. As for North Middlesex Regional, they pushed their record up to 5-8 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Lowell Catholic will face off against Arlington Catholic at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for North Middlesex Regional, they will head out to face off against Auburn at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Patriots' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Rockets have averaged an impressive 6.5 runs per game this season.
