Softball Recap: Cross Creek Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Cross Creek and Cairo squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Cross Creek had to settle for second. They lost 11-2 to the Syrupmakers. The Razorbacks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cross Creek's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Cairo, they have been performing well recently as they've won 13 of their last 16 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-9 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Cairo beat Cross Creek by a score of 17-1 later that day.
