It's playoff time, and Sparrows Point had no trouble coming through when it counted. They took their game on Thursday with ease, bagging a 43-6 victory over the Surrattsville Hornets. The Pointers' win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Leading Sparrows Point to victory were Mikey Maynor and Macin McNew. Maynor rushed for 45 yards and a pair of scores, while McNew picked up 30 receiving yards and one TD. An impressive showing, but McNew really ramped things up playing D: he picked up a sack and made eight total tackles.

Sparrows Point's victory bumped their record up to 9-0. As for Surrattsville, they dropped their record down to 0-9 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Sparrows Point has already played their next contest, a 34-6 win against Central on the 14th. Surrattsville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
