Softball Recap: Fulton Comes Up Short

After soaring to 12 runs the game before, Fulton was a bit more limited in their game on Monday. They lost 10-1 to the Moberly Spartans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Spartans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-1 back in September.

Fulton has also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season. As for Moberly, they pushed their record up to 7-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Coming up, Fulton will take on Boonville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Moberly, they are taking a road trip to challenge Marshall at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
