Volleyball Recap: Coginchaug Regional Comes Up Short

Coginchaug Regional managed to slip by North Branford the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Blue Devils lost 3-0 to the Thunderbirds on Thursday. The Blue Devils just can't catch a break and have now endured six losses in a row dating back to last season.

While Coginchaug Regional had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-18, 25-19.

Coginchaug Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for North Branford, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Coginchaug Regional has already played their next game, a 3-2 win against Haddam-Killingworth on the 15th. As for North Branford, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Portland on the 15th.
