Soccer Recap: Waterford Takes a Loss

Waterford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Stone Ridge Christian Knights. The match was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Wildcats couldn't quite close it out.

Waterford's loss dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Stone Ridge Christian, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-5.

Waterford has already played their next game, a 5-2 victory against Mariposa County on the 28th. As for Stone Ridge Christian, they will welcome Gustine at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
