Baseball Recap: Druid Hills Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Druid Hills can now relate to. They lost 11-3 to the Ware County Gators on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Red Devils have suffered since March 4th.

Druid Hills has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 20-12 record this season. As for Ware County, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 25-5.

Druid Hills does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Ware County, they will square off against North Oconee at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Gators 2.7, the Titans 3.1) so any runs scored will be well earned.
