Central Lyon can bid farewell to their eight-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. Everything went their way against the Sibley-Ocheyedan Generals as they made off with a 17-1 win. The Lions' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Central Lyon's victory bumped their record up to 3-9. As for Sibley-Ocheyedan, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season.

Coincidentally, Central Lyon and Sibley-Ocheyedan will both be playing West Lyon the next time they take the field. The Lions will head out to face the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Generals will host them at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
