Basketball Recap: St. Ignatius College Preparatory Comes Up Short

After flying high against Presentation last Friday, St. Ignatius College Preparatory came back down to earth. The St. Ignatius College Preparatory Wildcats fell 57-45 to the Archbishop Riordan Crusaders on Tuesday. The Wildcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Crusaders earlier this season, when they won 55-49.

Nylah Dyson was the offensive standout of the game as she posted 17 points. Those 17 points gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Tallyah Nasol, who put up ten points.

St. Ignatius College Preparatory's loss dropped their record down to 14-10. As for Archbishop Riordan, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-7.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Archbishop Riordan beat St. Ignatius College Preparatory by a score of 49-45 on Friday.
