Basketball Recap: Desert's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Five

Desert extended their winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Kalista Williams. The Desert Scorpions took down the California City Ravens 49-35 on Tuesday thanks in part to Williams, who went 11 for 23 on her way to 26 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 12 games she's played.

Desert is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. As for California City, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-13.

Desert has already played their next game (against Kern Valley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. It'll be a Battle of the Birds when the California City Ravens take on the Frazier Mountain Falcons at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
