Basketball Recap: Veritas Academy Takes a Loss

Veritas Academy has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They fell 40-27 to the Greenwood Wildcats on Thursday. The contest marked the Monarch's lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Veritas Academy's loss dropped their record down to 14-5. As for Greenwood, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Veritas Academy nor Greenwood have any future games scheduled.
