After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mount Anthony, Brattleboro was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with a 5-1 win over the Fair Haven Slaters. The victory continues a trend for the Bears in their matchups with the Slaters: they've now won four in a row.

Brattleboro picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 2-9. As for Fair Haven, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Brattleboro will host Otter Valley at 12:00 p.m. on Monday.
