Softball Recap: Cook Extends Winning Streak to Five

Cook won the last time they faced Tattnall County and things went their way on Thursday too. The Hornets never let the Warriors get on the board and left with an 8-0 win. Considering the Hornets have won ten contests by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory (which was Cook's fifth in a row) raised their record to 13-1. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 6.8 runs. As for Tattnall County, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.

Coincidentally, Cook and Tattnall County will both be playing Appling County the next time they take the field. The Hornets will host the Pirates at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Warriors will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
