Football Recap: Royal Valley Has No Trouble Against Oskaloosa

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Nemaha Central, Royal Valley was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Oskaloosa Bears a 52-0 shutout. That looming 52-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Panthers yet this season.

Royal Valley's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Oskaloosa, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Coming up, Royal Valley will head out on the road to challenge Osage City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Indians' defense has only allowed 12.7 points per game this season, so the Panthers' offense will have their work cut out for them. Oskaloosa does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
