Hillsboro took an eight-run defeat the last time they faced off against Sheridan, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Indians had just enough and edged out the Generals 7-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Indians have posted since April 20th.

The victory made it two in a row for Hillsboro and bumps their season record up to 12-11. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Sheridan, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 20-8.
