Softball Game Preview: Edmond Santa Fe Wolves vs. Ponca City Wildcats

The Edmond Santa Fe Wolves will head out to face off against the Ponca City Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Edmond Santa Fe will roll into the game after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any runs on Thursday, then bounced right back against Bishop McGuinness on Monday. The Wolves walked away with a 12-7 victory over the Fighting Irish.

Meanwhile, Ponca City beat Deer Creek 5-1 on Monday.

Edmond Santa Fe's win bumped their record up to 12-18. As for Ponca City, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season.

Edmond Santa Fe skirted past Ponca City 5-4 in their previous meeting on September 2nd. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wolves since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
