Basketball Recap: Piner Takes a Loss

Piner lost against Ukiah back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Piner Prospectors were beaten by the Ukiah Wildcats 68-10. The contest marked the Prospectors' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Piner is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-12. As for Ukiah, the victory was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-7.

Piner has already played their next game (against Elsie Allen), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Ukiah Wildcats face off against the Santa Rosa Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
