Softball Recap: Hudson Takes a Loss

Hudson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 7-6 heartbreaker at the hands of the Maquoketa Cardinals.

Hudson's defeat dropped their record down to 14-10. As for Maquoketa, their win bumped their record up to 11-18.

Hudson has already played their next game (against Calamus-Wheatland), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Maquoketa, they will head out on the road to square off against Monticello at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
