Baseball Recap: Fayette County Comes Up Short

Fayette County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They lost 16-1 to the LaGrange Grangers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 11-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Fayette County's defeat dropped their record down to 4-18. As for LaGrange, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-9.

While Fayette County had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
